The Health Ministry reported Wednesday morning that 4,674 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed Tuesday, putting Israel's caseload at 278,585.
Also reported were 19 additional virus-related fatalities, putting the national death toll at 1,803.
Out of the 61,606 patients currently battling the disease, 855 are in serious condition, with 223 connected to ventilators.
With 46,932, Israel's current infection rate stands at 10.5%.
