Israel Monday surpassed 2,000 coronavirus deaths, according to the Health Ministry.
Since the start of the pandemic, 2,016 Israelis have succumbed to the virus.
Also reported were 1,915 new coronavirus diagnosis, putting the national caseload at 293,553.
Out of the 52,892 patients currently battling the disease, 827 are in serious condition, with 227 connected to ventilators.
