Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit responded to the publication of recording of him slamming former State Attorney Shai Nitzan during a conversation with a close associate, saying he is sorry for the things said during the conversation which took place five years ago.
A statement issued on his behalf read: "There is no correlation between the things said and any professional decisions made by the Attorney General in investigative cases or anything else."
