Defense Minister Benny Gantz met with local leaders of communities still under a full lockdown due to a high coronavirus morbidity rate, urging them to do more in the battle against the pathogen.
"We expect the public to adhere more with restrictions. We can not allow Israel to be divided into two countries law wise," he said.
Gantz also pledged the Defense Ministry will expand its operations in virus hit cities.
