Sources: Coronavirus czar backs partially opening Israel's schools

Adir Yanko|
Israel's coronavirus czar, Prof. Roni Gamzu, is believed to recommend to the government during coronavirus cabinet meeting on Wednesday afternoon to reopen the education system for grades one through four, but only if studies will be held in small groups or "capsules".
Health Ministry sources said this is in addition to making the children and teaching staff wear face masks while in school and conducting voluntary coronavirus survey tests for teachers.
