The Health Ministry Wednesday evening reported that since midnight, 816 new coronavirus cases have been diagnosed, putting Israel's caseload at 307,259.
Also reported were 10 additional virus-related fatalities, raising the national death toll since the start of the pandemic to 2,291.
Out of the 19,547 patients currently battling the disease, 596 are in serious condition, with 232 connected to ventilators.
