Israel reported 895 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, the lowest such figure published since Monday.
Health authorities conducted over 32,000 coronavirus tests in the past 24 hours, meaning the national infection rate stood at 2.8%.
There are currently 996 coronavirus patients receiving treatment across the country's hospitals, 570 of them are in serious condition, among them 223 patients on ventilators.
