Supreme Court rejects petition to investigate Case 4000 leaks

|
The Supreme Court rejected the petition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the couple Shaul and Iris Elowitz, who demanded that Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit be ordered to open a criminal investigation into the leaks in Case 4000.
"The content of the recordings, which are not confidential, is part of the evidence in the criminal proceedings," explained Justice George Karra. "The transcripts of the recordings were provided to the petitioners, so that it appears that the damage caused as a result of the publication of the recordings is mainly damage relating to one's image resulting from the publication itself.
