The Health Ministry reported Thursday evening 349 new cases of coronavirus have been detected since midnight.
Health authorities conducted over 20,000 coronavirus tests, meaning only 1.7% of them returned positive.
There are currently 577 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment across the country's hospitals, 331 of them are in serious condition and 156 patients are on ventilators.
Three Israelis have passed away since midnight due to the complications of COVID-19, raising the total death tally from the pathogen to 2,639.
