The Health Ministry on Tuesday said that 710 new coronavirus cases were confirmed on Sunday out of 34,313 tests conducted showing a positivity rate of 2.1%.
There are currently 322 people in serious condition being treated in hospitals with 134 on ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 2,678 people have succumbed to the virus.
