The Director-General at the Health Ministry Prof. Hezi Levy said on Tuesday that he "would like to promote such a law to oblige people who are not in medical danger to be vaccinated [for the coronavirus]."
Prof. Levy added that "we are in dialogue with the legal counsel on this matter and are finding out if there is a way to force people to get vaccinated. At the moment there is no such way. Because of the model of this epidemic we need to find a way to force people to get vaccinated."
