Number of positive COVID-19 tests among Ultra-Orthodox 40% higher than national average

The number positive coronavirus tests among the Ultra-Orthodox community is about 40% higher than the national average, this is according o data released by the Health Ministry on Tuesday.
Maj. Gen. Roni Noma, the coordinator of the fight against the coronavirus in the haredi sector, said that although the infection rate among the sector is still relatively low, a change for the worse has been noted. Adding that the decline in the number of infections that has characterized the last three weeks has been halted and in some cities even reversed.
