Hamas senior official Fathi Hamd has tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
His condition remains unknown but it is said he took all the necessary precautionaries.
Hamd belongs to the most extremist flank of The Gaza Strip's Hamas terror organization and oversaw the group's security mechanisms. He leads the March of Return in the northern Gaza Strip and operates shadow militias through which Hamas carries out terrorist acts.
