Iranian nuclear scientist assassinated near Tehran, media says

Iranian media reported on Friday that a nuclear scientist was assassinated near Tehran.
Some reports, the credibility of which is not yet clear, indicate that the scientist who was killed was previously described as the "father of the Iranian bomb", Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed Fakhrizadeh's picture in 2018 and claimed that he played a significant role in the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program.
