Israeli is responsible for the attack in which Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Farikhzade was killed, three intelligence sources told the New York Times on Friday.
According to the report, the extent of the United States' involvement is unclear, but the two countries "are close partners and have a long history of intelligence sharing on Iran."
The White House and Pentagon have yet to comment on Farikhzade's killing.
