The United States will redeploy a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf, CNN reported on Friday.
According to the report, the move was planned for the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq and Afghanistan by January 15 and was made before the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
