The Ultra-Orthodox Shas party condemned Blue & White's intention to promote equality bills in the Knesset.
"Minister Benny Gantz and Blue & White have decided to dissolve the government and go to the polls," Shas said in its statement. "These attempts to promote bills that are intended to increase controversy and provoke divisions, while at the same time dissolving the Knesset, are intended solely to garner votes and show severe political distress."
