Saudi Arabia on Monday granted permission to Israel’s first commercial flight to the UAE, which was due to take off Tuesday morning from Ben-Gurion Airport to Dubai International Airport, to use its airspace.
The flight's departure was at risk of being canceled after the Saudis stalled to grant the permission. The approval came after advisors to U.S. President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner and Avi Berkowitz, contacted Saudi officials.
