The Health Ministry reported on Thursday night that 948 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed since midnight, which constitutes 2.3 % of all coronavirus tests conducted that day.
There are currently 11,751 active coronavirus patients, of which 292 are in serious condition, and 93 are on ventilators.
The ministry also added that four coronavirus patients died on Thursday, bringing the pathogen death toll in Israel to 2,890.
