Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that the PA had reached agreements with various countries and bodies to receive vaccines in large quantities, though he did not name the countries or the number of doses.
In a televised speech, Abbas clarified that he had instructed the Palestinian government to address the high numbers of those infected "at any cost".
