Hundreds of Ethiopian Jews arrived in Israel on Thursday and were received by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz in a welcoming ceremony.
The 316 people who were being denied the right to immigrate to Israel, some for decades, were brought to Israel after the government approved a plan to expedite the reunion of thousands from the African nation, with their Israeli families.
