Average wages increase by 4.9% in September compared to 2019

Ynet|
The average wage in September increased by 4.9% compared to the corresponding month last year to NIS 11,373, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Thursday.
The hike may be a result of low-income workers being laid off or furloughed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
However, average wages have dropped by 1.6% compared to August.
