Health Ministry reports 1,434 new coronavirus cases

The Health Ministry reported Friday morning that 1,434 coronavirus cases were diagnosed Thursday.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic stands at 2,891.
Out of the 11,761 patients currently battling the disease, 287 are in serious condition, with 101 connected to ventilators.
With 64,787 tests conducted Thursday, the infection rate stands at 2.3%.
