Israel posts 1,506 new daily coronavirus cases

The Health Ministry said Saturday evening 1,506 people tested positive for coronavirus the previous day, putting the contagion rate at 2.5%.
The ministry said they conducted 61,537 COVID-19 tests on Friday.
At least 314 patients are in serious condition, of whom 97 are ventilated. The death toll has increased and now stands at 2,901.
