The cabinet will reconvene on Thursday at 9am after earlier a meeting a day earlier was adjourned after ministers failed to vote on further steps to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
On Monday evening, coronavirus cabinet approved a three-week, nighttime lockdown but the decision was put on hold after the government ran into legal difficulties in implementing it.
