Blue & White vote for 'Equality Bill', angering Likud

Blue & White on Wednesday voted for a proposal to anchor equality in Israel’s Basic Laws, against the wishes of coalition partner Likud.
"The Basic Law: Equality' aimed to enshrine the right to equality and the prohibition of discrimination.
Passing its initial reading 56-54, the bill would require three more votes to become law.
