The government is set to reconvene on Thursday morning to approve partial nighttime lockdowns across Jewish municipalities for the duration of the holiday of Hanukkah, and across Christian localities for the holiday of Christmas.
According to the outline, anyone violating the lockdown will be fined NIS 500. The fine will also be applicable to those who visit other people's homes during the holiday.
