Netanyahu drops Hanukkah restrictions following objection by Gantz

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday announced that the proposal by the Health Ministry to enact a nighttime curfew during Hanukkah has been dropped, following objections by Defense Minister Benny Gantz.
Ministers instead decided to go for a series of restrictions later to be decided, dubbed "Tightened restraint", if Israel reaches 2,500 new daily coronavirus cases and an R over 1.32.
