Likud MK in intensive care after COVID-19 complications

Likud MK David Bitan, a former close ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit at the Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv after experiencing respiratory difficulties as the result of COVID-19.
Bitan was confirmed to have contracted the virus on Monday and had taken a turn for the worst of the weekend.
