Naftali Bennett, head of the Yamina party and a former Defense Minister on Wednesday announced he is running to be elected prime minister.
"Netanyahu has failed to put his own interests aside and properly manage the coronavirus pandemic, he said. "It is time to thank him for his service and elect a new leadership," he said.
