The Health Ministry reported Friday evening that 1,832 cases of coronavirus have been detected since midnight out of 39,158 tests conducted, meaning 4.7% of all tests came back positive.
There were 33,338 active carriers of the pathogen in Israel - 527 were hospitalized in serious condition and 133 were on ventilators.
Since the onset of the pandemic, 3,186 Israelis have died due to coronavirus, 5 of them passed away since midnight.
