Health Ministry reports 1,967 virus cases

The Health Ministry said that since midnight, 1,967 people tested positive for COVID-19.
The ministry said over 40,000 tests had been conducted, putting the contagion rate at 4.8%.
At least 585 patients are in serious condition, of whom 147 are ventilated. The official death toll now stands at 3,225.
