PM's term should be limited to 8 years, says Sa'ar

Gideon Sa'ar, the chairman of the New Hope party, said at a conference of the Israel Democracy Institute that "the term in office of Israel's prime minister should be limited to eight years, that is the first law we will see pass."
Sa'ar added that he believes the term of mayors should also be limited to two terms, with an option of a third term only if the mayor receives more than 50% of the votes.
