Israel saw a 15-year low in road accidents in 2020, a state agency responsible for road safety said Wednesday.
The National Road Safety Authority said in a report 302 people were killed over the past year, 15% lower than the same number reported in 2019 and the lowest since 2005.
The drop in the number of accidents could be attributed to limited traffic during three national lockdowns imposed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
