Outgoing President Donald Trump released a taped message on Wednesday repeating claims the election was stolen from him but urged rioters to "go home in peace."
The message was posted on his Twitter account.
"We must respect our great law enforcement, the outgoing president said, "We cannot play into the hands of these people, this was a fraudulent election," he said.
