162 new immigrants from Ethiopia land in Israel

Early Thursday morning, 162 new immigrants from Ethiopia landed in Israel as part of the governemnt's "Tzur Israel" operation that seeks to bring about 20,000 immigrants from Ethiopia to Israel by the end of the month to be reunited with their families.
"The sights of these new arrivals to Israel excite me over and over again. We began to correct this long ongoing injustice, and it gives me strength to continue to act," said Aliyah and Integration Minister Pnina Tamano-Shata.
