Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said Thursday that starting next week, vaccines will be delivered to prisons in order to begin vaccinating inmates.
Edelstein's announcement came following a disagreement between Public Security Minister Amir Ohana and Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit, with the former saying he will not give vaccines to prisoners.
Mandelblit stated that Ohana is "acting with authority."
