The Health Ministry Monday evening reported that 7,098 new coronavirus cases have been diagnosed since midnight.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic rose to 4,040.
Out of 81,532 patients battling the disease, 1,161 are in serious condition, with 292 connected to ventilators.
