At least six ultra-Orthodox men were detained on Tuesday when riots broke out after police attempted to enforce lockdown restrictions in a religious seminary operating in violation of the law.
Roads were blocked by dozens of rioters hurling insults at the police. One man was found to be carrying a knife and pepper spray.
