The number of COVID-19 who require respiratory assistance from ventilators has reached a record high 333, the Health Ministry reported Sunday night.
Additionally, 57 Israelis have succumbed to complications of the illness and the national death toll had reached 4,419 fatalities, 1,055 in January alone.
Health authorities have conducted some 35,000 coronavirus tests, 8.6% of which yielded a positive result.
