Thousands gathered Sunday evening in the Bukharim quarter in Jerusalem for the funeral procession of Rabbi Yitzchak Aryeh Shiner, who died this afternoon from coronavirus aged 98.
The funeral takes place just hours after 10,000 people attended the funeral procession for Rabbi Meshulam Dovid Soloveitchik, who also passed away from COVID-19, aged 99.
The gatherings are being held in clear violation of the health restrictions.
