Defense Minister Benny Gantz Monday commented on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's appearance in court earlier for the last preliminary hearing in his corruption trial, saying that "this is a hard and sad day for the state of Israel, but also an important day where every man understands that he not above the law."
"All are equal before the law, even you prime minister," he said.
