Israel is taking steps to prepare for an Iranian cyber attack on its water infrastructure causing concern that the Islamic Republic may attempt to poison drinking water.
In an emergency meeting held earlier this week in the office of Energy and Water Minister Yuval Steinitz officials said there was still insufficient defenses of the water infrastructure systems, against cyber attacks.
The minister instructed officials to take immediate steps to upgrade cyber security and increase the level of preparedness.
