Environmental Minister Gamliel says pollution could not be prevented

Environmental Protection Minister Gila Gamliel referred to the ecological disaster that befell the beaches of Israel.
"It could not have been prevented because of the storm, which pushed all the crude oil and turned it into tar. The waves were very high and could have claimed human lives," Gamliel said.
The minister added that the condemnation may have been maliciously done: "The complexity is to find those responsible for the disaster, we will do everything in our power to find those responsible."
