Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Zvi Hauzer (Derech Heretz) asked Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin to convene an urgent discussion regarding the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Fateen Mula (Likud), who has apparently contacted Palestinian Authority officials regarding assistance to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the March 24 elections.
"Mula's appeal is against the law, there is a fear of blatant interference by a foreign party in the election and the Knesset plenum must discuss it urgently and receive clarifications on the issue," said Hauzer.
