Health Ministry reports 4,298 new coronavirus cases

The Health Ministry reported Thursday morning that 4,298 new coronavirus cases have been diagnosed out of 75,836 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, putting Israel's contagion rate at 5.6%.
There are currently 770 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in serious condition, of which 249 are connected to ventilators.
The national COVID-19 death toll reached 5,673 fatalities.
