Haredi sector's coronavirus czar warns of rise in infections among sector

The Haredi sector's coronavirus czar Major General Roni Numa, warned Thursday that the infection rate among the ultra-Orthodox sector is on the rise again.
"The downward trend in infections among the ultra-Orthodox public has been halted and an alarming increase has begun. We are after a difficult month in which there were many patients and deaths."
"It is important that we do not return there," said Numa, who also expressed his worry of illegal gatherings in the sector during Purim. "Irresponsible behavior on Purim will return us to high infection rates and deaths.
