The head of Nahariya's Galilee Medical Center, Dr. Masad Barhoum, warned Sunday that the hospital is dealing with a worrying surge in coronavirus patients in serious condition.
"Just last week we closed one of our coronavirus wards as it seemed the situation had improved, and here we are again on an alarming rise," said Dr. Barhoum.
“Over the weekend, several patients including five pregnant women, were admitted following a coronavirus outbreak in one of the local villages. I implore all residents to keep to the guidelines."
