IDF chief says Iran threatens Israeli civilian targets

IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi said Sunday that the attack on an Israeli-owned cargo vessel in the Gulf of Oman proves the Islamic Republic is striking civilian Israeli targets and poses more than a nuclear threat to the region.
Speaking at a ceremony for the outgoing commander of elite intelligence unit 8200, Kochavi said the IDF would act against Iranian threats near and far.
