A mother of a 13-year-old girl who was alleged raped at a state-run coronavirus hotel told the 21-year-old suspect during a court hearing he has ruined her daughter's life.
"Her life has been completely ruined," said the other, calling Yarin Sherf "an animal." The mother called on the court to give the man the maximum punishment: "He ended her life and scarred her forever."
The police asked the court to extend Sherf's remand by another 10 days.
